Afghan war veteran and Launchpad ambassador James Rose is set to climb North Africa’s highest mountain next week.
The double-amputee veteran from Middlesbrough will climb 4,167m to the summit of Mount Toubkal in Morocco to complete one of his toughest challenges to date.
James will be accompanied by fellow veterans John Gilpin, Ray Priest and Gerry Garvey who are collectively hoping to raise £15,000 for Launchpad and BLESMA who support limbless veterans.
They’ll be setting off on 21st June and aim to be back home safely on 26th June. It is expected to take approximately 3-4 days in total.
