As part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2022, we opened up both our houses in Newcastle and Liverpool and invited businesses and support providers to find out more about the charity and meet some of our staff and residents. The theme for this year’s campaign was ‘Loneliness’ and we’ve all experienced that at some point in time, particularly in recent months (and years) due to the pandemic.

Four residents at Avondale House buddied up with some of the visiting organisations who will help them get employment-ready – helping to develop their CVs, interview techniques, and give them advice and tips on how to find work in their respective sectors/industries.

We’ve extended the ‘buddy-up’ campaign throughout the year and if your organisation can support us, we’d love to hear from you. Please email us at [email protected] or [email protected]
